We, Turkic Association in Prague – KITAP, are glad to invite you to the Czech Turkic Business Forum 2019, which will be held on October, 25th, 2019 in the premises of the University of New York in Prague. The event shall bring together the Turkic entrepreneurs operating on the territory of the Czech Republic and the Czech entrepreneurs operating on the markets of Turkic states.  Hereby we would like to invite you to this event and also reach you with an offer of cooperation. The event will be held in English.

KITAP – Tatar and Turkic Association in Prague (www.kitap.cz) promotes and presents the culture of Turkic peoples, among which are Turks, Azerbaijanis, Tatars, Uzbeks Kazakhs, Kyrgyz, etc. We organize various cultural and educational events through which we enlighten here the history, culture, tradition, literature, and philosophy of the Turkic people for the major society.

The sponsor and co-organizer of the event is YeYe Agency. The Yeye Agency has been supporting Czech companies expanding to Turkey and consulting to Turkish companies expanding to Czech Republic. The founder of the Yeye Agency is also a board member in the Czech-Turkish Joint  Chamber of Commerce.

The event is held under the auspices of the Prague City Hall, Prague City Councilor PhDr. Mgr. Vít Šimral et Ph.D.

This year we have chosen a new event format. In addition to the traditional cultural and educational events, which KITAP organizes, this First Czech Turkic Business Forum shall include a round table and interactive lectures on entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic, as well as in the Turkic states for Czech entrepreneurs.

In this way, we want to support the development of commercial relations between the Czech Republic and the Turkic states, which are presented in the Czech Republic. It will also help to Czech organizations operating in these countries will deepen their understanding of the fundamental problems in doing business in Turkic countries.

The mentioned Turkic states are presented in the Czech Republic by the embassies of the Republic of Turkey, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the other Turkic nations, including Tatar nation, are introduced by the embassy of the Russian Federation and the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Within the framework of integration and development of international relations, this Czech Turkic Business Forum 2019 offers beneficial networking both between the entrepreneurs and between the entrepreneurs and state institutions, also embassies. This brings an opportunity to provide a platform for the entrepreneurs from the Turkic countries doing business in the Czech Republic and Czech entrepreneurs doing business in the Turkic states, where they will be able to be directly involved in improving the current business situation and the interstate relations.

The event will be attended by representatives of both the Chambers of Commerce and the embassies of the Turkic states represented in the Czech Republic, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and CzechInvest.

It will be possible to discuss individual topics, where the moderators will help with the final formulation of individual suggestions.

The outcome of the Forum will be the identification of the most important problems of business relations for Czech and Turkish entrepreneurs, and recommendations and standpoints for relevant official authorities. The output of discussions will be sent to the relevant authorities, posted on the organizer’s website and the follow-up discussions to be done with the attending Chambers of Commerce.    

Accompanying program – cultural part, music program of famous musicians.

The snacks and coffee breaks are provided.

In the case of interest and consent, some performances may be shot on video for the general public.
